Living Donation (GOLD) a project
set up in 2011 to increase the number
of living kidney donors in the UK,
especially among family and friends
of a loved one with kidney failure.
Her background in community and
charity work coupled with her
experience as a potential kidney
donor, has enabled her to write her
story with empathy and honesty.
